Job Description Job Description Service Technician – Reefer/Service Trucks Pay: $18.00 to $25 Hours: 7:30am to 4pm Join our team and put your skills to work! We’re looking for an experienced Service Technician to maintain and repair semi-trailers, box trucks, and service trucks — including brakes, lights, refrigeration units, and general DOT maintenance. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you. Service Technician Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair braking, hydraulic, and air systems. Service and maintain refrigeration (Reefer) units. Complete DOT inspections and maintain compliance records. Perform welding, electrical, fabrication, and general trailer repairs. Work independently on service calls and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized. Service Technician Qualifications & Requirements: Mechanical, electrical, welding, or fabrication experience (diesel experience is a plus). Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexible schedule for service calls (including after hours). Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. DOT certification preferred (FHWA Inspections & Air Brakes). Must have your own tools.
