Job Description:

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:00) Experience: 2 years required License: ARRT-R Certifications: BLS required, ARRT advanced preferred Must-Have: 1 weekend rotation every 4-5 weeks Description: IR Tech first timers are welcome. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Candidates must have ARRT-R and BLS certifications. ARRT advanced certification is preferred. Required skills include angioplasty, chest tube placement, ERCP, and gastrostomy tube placement. Additional skills required are liver biopsy, paracentesis, stent placement, carotid angiography, discogram, embolization, and vertebroplasty. All clinicians cannot work past 1 year as a traveler. A 6-month break must be taken to return as a traveler. Travelers must be clean shaven for fit testing. All travelers are required to complete an OSHA respirator clearance prior to starting.
