looking for a Maintenance Manager to work at Fort Sill, OK. To join

Manager supports the Project Manager by leading all aspects of the
maintenance mission, supervising personnel who inspect, repair, and
service military equipment ranging from combat systems to power
generation units. This role includes coordinating daily operations,
hiring and training staff, implementing maintenance procedures,
evaluating performance, and overseeing accident investigations and
reporting. The position requires strong knowledge of Army
maintenance standards, materiel maintenance processes, relevant
technical publications, and operator level software including
Logistics STAMIS and related systems. Performs maintenance
operations in support of the Logistics Readiness Center–Sill
(LRC-Sill) or Army Field Support Battalion-Sill (AFSBn-Sill).
Manages the daily workload and is responsible for the timely
completion of work IAW established priorities, task orders and
performance standards. Ensures quality management, interprets
requirements, and conducts repair operations IAW the standards
outlined in the contractual Performance Work Statement (PWS),
applicable MOAs and International Organization for Standardization
(ISO) 9001:2015. Provides feedback to customers through the
Installation Maintenance Division (IMD) on special programs and/or
projects. Activities include but are not limited to directing and
overseeing the repair or replacement of components and end items.
Directs and coordinates the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
for Base Operations; to include AFSBn and other stakeholder-owned
equipment. Implement maintenance policies to efficiently repair
equipment. May be required to assist with special service programs
(back up unit equipment repair and or services), 10/20 upgrades,
equipment enhancement/life extension programs, and fabrication of
special items in the service and repair of combat vehicles,
artillery, tactical vehicles, communications-electronics items,
optical instruments, small arms, and crew served weapons.
Responsibilities Plans and organize maintenance workloads to
optimize the use of personnel. Establishes program objectives and
assesses progress. Develop scheduling and scheduling procedures to
ensure most efficient use of resources. Utilize Global Combat
Support System - Army (GCSS-A) System to manage maintenance
operations. Analyzes reports on maintenance schedules, performance,
requirements, and trends. Attend weekly, monthly, and quarterly
meetings with the customer. Submits Weekly and Monthly Contracts
Data Requirements List (CDRL’s) and other Maintenance reports for
performance trends, indicators, and potential problem areas.
Initiates actions/corrective actions to resolve problems and
prevent delays in production. Prepares and presents briefings on
maintenance related activities to the Installation Maintenance
Division (IMD). Plans, reviews, and manages OJT programs for
subordinates. Advises the Project Manager on the status of
maintenance workload and the effectiveness of support activities.
Interviews and make hiring decisions for personnel. Performs annual
job performance counseling with Subordinate Supervisors. Prepares
and presents briefings on maintenance related activities to the
Installation Maintenance Division. Develop cost proposals for new
work and workload increases. Other duties as assigned. Additional
Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications A minimum of five
years general experience in management, professional,
investigative, technical, or other responsible work in providing
services to support a specified maintenance mission. 10 years of
documented supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of
governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in
U.S. Army material maintenance is preferred. Five years specialized
experience in progressively responsible positions encompassing the
following: Understanding of program planning, funds control, data
collection and analysis and control of techniques. Broad knowledge
of the organization and procedures of a variety of maintenance
functions to include fire control, combat vehicles, automotive and
electronics equipment. Personnel management courses are desirable.
Ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and
recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.
Proficient in standard office software. Ability to pass
Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening. Applicant must
possess a REAL ID?compliant, state?issued driver’s license. Ability
to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation results, obtain and
maintain a CAC. Preferred Qualifications: 12 years of shop level
experience as a technician and understanding of quality systems. 10
years Army maintenance experience. 91 series U.S. Army Military
Occupational Specialty Maintenance Experience. Experience preparing
basis of estimates and technical inputs for proposals. Associate
degree in the technical trades or equivalent military training
desired. Formal training in business/personnel management is
desirable.
