The Military Engines Sustainment Quality team is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer who is energetic and motivated to conduct process and product audits, initiate and manage Quality Notifications, manage the Quality Clinic, initiate continual improvement initiatives, modify/generate quality documents and review/approve first article inspection documentation. What You Will Do: Communicate with various levels of management to identify Military Engines supplier quality risks and mitigation plans. Collect and analyze process data to minimize workflow disruptions and eliminate nonconformances/escapes. Review and approve supplier First Article Inspections (FAI). Actively work within the SAP system to process/close out quality notifications (QN), research component/module history and identify service master activity. Facilitate investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence. Qualifications You Must Have: A Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience. First Article Inspection (FAI) experience. CORE / Lean Six Sigma Experience. Ability to travel as required. Qualifications We Prefer: Ability to read and comprehend work instructions, quality manuals, and other detailed instructions. Quality Clinic experience. AS9100 / AS9110 experience. CORE Champion or working towards CORE proficiency. Proficiency in MS Office applications to include: MS Word, Access, Power Point and Excel. Learn More and Apply Now! The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
