Job Description:

Responsibilities and PurposeInitiate and promote activities both within and outside the institution to stimulate and promote resident interest and general well being.Encourage social communication among residents through group activities, recreation and one-on-one activities.Plan trips (shopping, scenic, other) and arrange for transportation and supervision.Encourage intellectual and educational development through literature, lectures, movies, cultural events and other activities available in the community.Comply with safety regulations and policies. Knowledge of federal and state guidelines.Desired Experience and EducationOne (1) or more years experience in a skilled nursing environment strongly preferred.RequirementsAbility to pass criminal background check.Must be flexible with schedule; occasional weekends may be required.BenefitsWe offer competitive pay commensurate with experience.
