*ASSISTANT MANAGER GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES*:* The Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, that include managing staff, finding new ways to improve sales, and interacting with customers in the restaurant while abiding by all safety guidelines.* The FOH Manager must possess the ability to use experience and good judgment to make appropriate decisions, organizing tasks, managing time, and prioritizing projects with outstanding judgment, initiative, and drive.* The job also requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable.* Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks.* Perform other related work as required.*Perks that come with the job as Assistant Manager: ** Fun work environment* Benefits Package Health, Dental & Vision, 401k Matching, Life Insurance, HSA, FSA, Accident and Cancer coverage, Short and Long-Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program* Paid Vacation* Employee Discounts 10%* Sign on Bonus* Referral Bonus*EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED** Provide level of service which ensures customers return, handle customer requests and complaints professionally* Create and maintain a restaurant environment which invites and welcomes customers to the restaurant* Complies with company policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction to achieve restaurant objectives* Effectively manage employee turnover* Provide a positive working environment and handle employment issues appropriately* Work in conjunction with host staff in setting up for dinner service by preparing floor chart noting all call parties, specials instructions, and special needs* Ensure food facilities are kept clean, sanitary, and well maintained* Manage and motivate staff to increase sales and ensure efficiency; training of all FOH staff; weekly ordering of supplies; monthly inventory;respond to customer complaints and comments* Daily administrative back-office paperwork (tip sheets, house account records, balance sheet, etc.* Walking the restaurant floor, meeting with customers, and managing FOH and BOH staff (in conjunction with Kitchen Manager, other FOH Manager(s), & General Manager)* Prepare staff schedules; monitor employee schedules and hours; enforce all company policies and procedures; perform daily pre-shiftmeetings; perform evaluations anddisciplinary actions when needed; use excellent customer relations skills; maintain an accurate and efficient inventory and cost; schedule equipment repair.*ASSISTANT MANAGER EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: * Ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employmentand safety procedures; knowledge of food safety practices. Management experience required.
