SummaryManages the clinical activities of outpatient office(s).
Under general supervision, directs and manages the provision of all
outpatient services working with Chief Operating Officer to assure
financial viability and contract compliance of assigned programs.
Maintains knowledge and familiarity of the goals and objectives of
the Chief Operating Officer for the region. Provides direct care to
consumers as administrative duties allow.Essential
FunctionsMaintains knowledge of Chief Operating Officer's goals and
objectives for location supervisedWorks concurrently toward these
goals and objectives with the Chief Operating Officer by attending
key meetings, preparing reports, etcWorks as a team member with
other programs; communicating with other program leaders and staff
in order to provide quality services to consumersMaintains caseload
and provides services to consumers as necessarySupervises
staffPrepares plans, facilitates, and implements direct care of
consumers through groups, rehabilitative services, and individual
case management and supportive services. Arranges outings for
consumers, assesses clinical skill levels for appropriate placement
in groups and reviews progress or potential problems. May be
referred to most severe and/or critical consumersMaintains core
competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders
through continuing education and implementing skills into all
aspects of treatmentMaintains compliance with Medicaid, Oklahoma
Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Commission on
Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and any other
funding/contract sourceMay provide triage services to assure safety
of consumers and staffSupervises students and other clinical and
support staff when required. May provide specialized training when
requiredParticipates in Red Rock hiring. With the Chief Operating
Officer or independently, conducts interviews for key upper level
positionsAdvises direction of grant search for Red Rock based on
service gaps, community needs potential for success, and "fit" with
Red Rock goals and objectivesAttends staff meetings, workshops, and
seminars to learn Agency policy, rules, regulations, and
procedures; participates in ongoing in-service training as well as
pertinent external trainingSupports and assists with the
facilitation of Care Plans for consumers within the Red Rock Health
TeamPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsMaster's degree
in social science field and appropriate licensureTwo years
administrative experience in a mental health setting, five years
preferredMust complete all in-service and external training
requirementsCommitment to the mission of Red Rock BHSExperience in
working with community social service and health agencies,
preferredExcellent oral and written communication,
preferredSupervisory experience, preferredExperience in or
knowledge of working with low-income and minority consumers within
