This position requires population specific competencies. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.The Radiation Therapist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Delivers a planned course of radiotherapy accurately and effectively following the physician prescriptionAssists the Radiation Oncologist in localization using conventional or CT simulatorsAssists with patient education and assessmentThe Radiation Therapist reports to the Operations Manager Radiation Oncology or Radiation Therapist Team Lead as appropriate.This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.Please consult the Physical Demands Project SharePoint site or contact Risk Management/Employee Health for additional information.Exposures to hazardous risks including radiation, potential exposure to infectious and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment and chemicals.Potential for bodily related injury due to lifting and incidents of workplace violence.Must follow universal precautions.Exposed to constant interruptions, noise, disagreeable odors and assorted chemicals, cerobend by products from custom blocks.Hazards can be minimal if proper safety precautions are utilized.All applicants will receive consideration regardless of membership in any protected status as defined by applicable state or federal law, including protected veteran or disability status.Graduation from an accredited school of radiation therapyBachelors degree preferredARRT Certification or registry eligibleMust be able to communicate effectively in Englishby Jobble
