Summary:
The competent Nurse practices independently in a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.
Delegates and assigns tasks appropriately to other care providers to efficiently manage clinical situations.
Meets competency expectations in self-leadership, team leadership, or leadership of multiple teams.
Provides nursing care following the nursing process-----"assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation-----"for assigned patients.
Addresses the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice.
Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors for side effects, and documents care, patient history, and symptoms.
Evaluates learning needs and educates patients, families, or caregivers, identifying issues and resources.
Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of relevant experience (preferred), BLS certification, and an active RN license in the state or a compact license.
This is a full-time position.
