Ada, OK -Department Information:RN will float to all departments in
the hospital - - -OverviewThe Resource Pool is designed to enhance
the nursing staff at Mercy Hospital. Resource Pool co-workers are
highly skilled nurses capable of functioning at an optimal
competency level on each of their trained units. The Resource Pool
co-workers will not have a regularly assigned unit but will float
among their trained units, as needed. Members of the Resource Pool
must be able to function on the Medical-Surgical Units,
Intermediate Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Emergency
Department. - -Incentives: - -10 dollar incentive per hour on top

Retirement Funds Shift Differentials -Qualifications:Education:
Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program.Licensure:
Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current
RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in
which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of
nursing requirements.Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 year
nursing experience in acute care. Six months of this experience
should be within the last year.Certification/Registration: Basic
Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.Other
Skills--Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Stand
and walk most of the time on duty. Meet unit specific physical
demands. Significant amount of bending and stooping, as well as
lifting and turning patients with assistance. May be required to
work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, or work
frequency according to patient care requirements. High risk
exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical demands are attached
plus push, pull, and grip up to 40 lbs., pinch up to 10 lbs.,
kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.Equipment Used: Unit Specific
