Job Description:
Overview: HireNRHS Compensation - $25.74-$42.03/hr depending on
previous work experience. Responsibilities: -
Assessment/reassessment - Systematically assesses / reassesses the
health care needs of individuals; appropriate for specific age
groups and patient conditions. Involves patient, family and other
healthcare providers as appropriate. - Nursing Diagnosis and
Outcomes - Analyzes assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and
expected outcomes, involving patient, family and other healthcare
providers as appropriate. - Implementation and Coordination of Care
- Provides nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and
needs using professional judgement guided by current practice
standards, rules, regulations and policy. - Evaluation and
Discharge - Evaluates patient outcomes by utilizing the critical
thinking process and evidence based knowledge to recognize
problems, evaluate facts and reach sound conclusions. -
Professional Practice - Maintains professional working relationship
with physicians to facilitate excellent patient care. - Assists in
the maintenance of logs (patient/medication fridge, crash cart).
Qualifications: Education - Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN)
required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or Masters of
Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Experience - Previous
experience in healthcare field preferred (Above requirements can be
met by equivalent combination of education and experience)
Licensure/Certification/Registration/Professional Designation ETC -
Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. - Basic Life Support
(BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior
to providing patient care. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is
required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of
employment. Qualifications - IV insertion skills required. OTHER
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES - New grads are required to complete
Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.
