Mammography Tech Location: Ada, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,166 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 years License: ARRT(R)(M) Certifications: BLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year in Mammography Description: Position located in a mammography department with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include observing patients before, during, and after procedures. Safely operate all equipment and report malfunctions immediately. Understand emergency procedures and radiation safety protocols. Review orders for diagnosis and prescriptions. Schedule patients and department resources appropriately. Perform all procedures according to protocol stated in the procedure manual. Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal patient care. Assist in the department's quality improvement program. Train new staff as needed and keep the orientation program updated. Evaluate diagnostic procedures for appropriateness. Demonstrate the ability to assist with special procedures as needed. Maintain quality standards according to operational guidelines. Effectively communicate with patients, providing thorough explanations of procedures. Demonstrate technical proficiency in producing diagnostic images. Prepare and stock rooms for various exams. Assist in the transportation of patients and specimens as necessary. Display flexibility in working hours to meet departmental needs. Collect pertinent patient history before procedures. Question patients regarding their medical history and current health condition.
