Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Lancesoft Inc Pay: $2,445 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position RN Medicine/Pediatrics (Float Pool – Nights) Shift Information Work Shift: Nights Hours per Day: 12 hours Hours per Week: 36 hours Days per Week: 3 Schedule: Nights Holidays Weekends required Float Requirement: Must be able to float to all units in The Children’s Hospital Experience Requirement: Level 1 pediatric hospital experience required Position Description Provide professional nursing care to pediatric patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex. Monitor patient conditions, document responses, and follow all provider orders accurately. Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products safely. Assist physicians with examinations, minor procedures, and treatments. Communicate care plans clearly to patients and families, including discharge instructions. Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff and coordinate care needs with the team. Float to all units within The Children’s Hospital; Level 1 pediatric hospital experience required. Perform other related duties to support patient care and hospital operations. Requirements Requirements Experience Minimum 1 year of RN experience . Ability to care for pediatric patients with simple to complex conditions. Level 1 pediatric hospital experience required (due to float pool needs). Education Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher. Licensure & Certifications Required: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN license (eNLC) . Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – American Heart Association. Skills Required Skills Strong knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, and clinical procedures. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care. Strong communication skills (verbal & written). Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients/families. Ability to maintain productive working relationships with staff. Basic computer skills. Other Requirements Ability to work night shifts , weekends, and holidays. Must be able to float to all pediatric units within The Children’s Hospital. Must meet physical demands as defined by occupational health standards.
