Registered Nurse (RN) | Ambulatory Care Location: Oklahoma City, OK Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,146 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Pre-op Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours (0445-1715), 3 days per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience License: Current RN License Certifications: - Current Basic Life Support - ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program - Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures - Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients. Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician orders for assigned patients. Assists physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients and observes their physiological manifestations, intervening when necessary. Administers medication as prescribed and initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Delivers patient care competently. Interacts with family and patients to share care plans during hospitalization and at discharge. Informs patients and families of hospital procedures. Makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegates tasks to support staff. Performs other duties as assigned. No weekends, major holidays, or call requirements.
