RN Surgical Oncology (Travel/Contract) - Oklahoma City, OK Industry: Healthcare / Health Services Job Category: Medical / Health Unit: Surgical Oncology Schedule: 36 hours/week | 12-hour shifts | 3 days/week Location: Oklahoma City, OK License: Active OK RN or Compact (eNLC) Position Summary: Deliver expert nursing care to post-surgical oncology, stepdown, and med-surg patients in a high-volume hospital. Manage chemotherapy infusions, collaborate with MDs and teams, and drive positive outcomes in fast-paced Surgical Oncology. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct care: monitor conditions, administer meds/IVs/blood products. Assist with exams/procedures; educate patients/families on plans/discharge. Coordinate referrals, delegate tasks, maintain precise documentation. Required Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 1 year RN experience (Surgical Oncology preferred). Oncology/chemotherapy patient experience required . Stepdown and Med-Surg experience required . BLS & ACLS (AHA). Strong communication/teamwork.
