Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Tired of the rat race? Tired of
seeing 35 patients a day and not having the time to really care for
them? We are a small pediatric office with one Pediatrician and one
Nurse Practitioner. We pride ourselves on offering personal,
friendly, expert, collaborative primary pediatric care for children
from birth through college. We take the time we need to provide
excellent care, and typically would see up to 20 patients per
provider per day. We value good humor, flexibility, cooperation,
evidence-based care, and a genuine love of children and families.
We recognize that people have lives outside of work. No drama need
apply. We have a very good benefits package, but do not offer
Medical insurance. Familiarity with social media, and Spanish
speaking would be pluses Hours will be 9-5 two to four weekdays a
week, and 1-2 Saturday mornings a month with some flexibility, plus
fill-in days for vacation coverage. No hospital or call
responsibilities! We are looking for someone to start ASAP.
Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive health assessments on
pediatric patients - Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
in children in collaboration with pediatrician. - Provide primary
care services including well-child visits, immunizations, and
screenings - Educate patients and their families about health
promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
Qualifications: - Valid nurse practitioner license in the Oklahoma
- Master's degree in nursing, ideally with a specialization in
pediatrics - Certification as a Pediatric or Family Nurse
Practitioner - Knowledge of current standards of pediatric care and
evidence-based practice guidelines - Experience in office-based
pediatric primary and urgent care. - Proficiency in utilizing
electronic medical record systems (we use Amazing Charts) -
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively
interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
