Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg & Stepdown | Travel Contract Licensure & Certifications: Active OK or Compact License BLS (AHA) required Education: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required BSN preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of RN experience Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required Charge nurse experience is a strong plus Knowledge of central line care and management Foley catheter care and management End-of-life care experience Nephrology experience, including proper dialysis site care (e.g., fistula or HD catheter management) Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues Basic computer skills Provides nursing care under general supervision to patients ranging from moderate to high acuity. Delivers safe, evidence-based care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
