Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - General/Other Location: Ardmore, OK Employer: Alumni Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 74 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Specialty Mercy Clinic Orthopedics State OK Location 1011 14th Avenue Northwest, Ardmore, OK 73401 Requirements Having an orthopedic surgeon on our ED call who can and will do total hips/knees is a MUST The ED call would be ongoing They do not have to stay in the facility the entire 24hrs of call. Callback can range as little as zero to 2-4 hours. But they do have to answer all calls within 15 mins and be in the building (when needed) within 30 minutes. If you could include an all inclusive rate with the bids that would be great! What is the average patient census? This also varies, but on average 10 orthopaedic patients for the inpatient side of the hospital. Call requirements are 9 shifts per month. Support staff? We have 2 local integrated orthopaedic surgeons and 1 non-integrated physician that has privileges within our facility. Any specific procedures needed? This is for ED callso the bread and butter would be total hips/knees and simple fractures. Total knees are not a deal breaker. But total hips we need somebody who can help fix a hip fracture that might come in through the ED. Does the dept anticipate future dates? If yes, how often on a monthly basis? Yes, we are looking at having locums cover 1-2 weekends per month.
