NOW HIRING: School Based Speech Language Patholgist- CCC, CFY or SLPA's PRN, Part Time, or Full-Time You decide how many hours you want to work! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with communication disorders, including language, speech, voice, fluency, and pragmatic disorders. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of students, in collaboration with school staff and parents. • Provide consultation and training services to teachers and other educational professionals to improve their understanding of communication disorders and how to support student development. • Document and maintain accurate and organized records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans, according to school policies and professional standards. • Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-based meetings to collaborate with colleagues and ensure that the students' needs are addressed. • Stay informed about current research, trends, and best practices in communication disorders, and integrate this knowledge into the practice to improve services and outcomes for students. • Maintain professional licensure and certification standards required by the state and national organizations. Qualifications: • Master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution for CCC and CF level therapist, BS degree in speech/communication disorders for SLPA's • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology. • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. • Experience working with children with communication disorders in a school-based setting preferred, but willing to train • Effective communication skills, oral and written. • Knowledge of current research and best practices in communication disorders. • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
