Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Medicine Specialty /n/n Job Details: /n • Must have medical/surgical and step-down unit experience /n• ICU experience preferred /n• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required /n• Provide nursing care to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex /n• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients /n• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments /n• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures /n• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe patient manifestations and intervene when necessary /n• Administer medications as prescribed /n• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products /n• Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge planning /n• Make referrals for patient care needs to appropriate personnel /n• Delegate tasks to support staff /n• Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC), Current BLS from American Heart Association /n• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required /n• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred /n• Strong verbal and written communication skills required /n• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients /n/n Facility: /n This major academic medical center serves as a leading healthcare institution providing comprehensive medical services and advanced specialty care.
