records Description: Under immediate to general supervision and
direction of a mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to
achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized
cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services. The role
involves assisting medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment,
and surveillance of patients. Utilizing entry-level knowledge, the
technologist will provide safe, high-quality, efficient
patient-centric care and support services in various care settings.
Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures and
correlating clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.
Effective communication and collaboration with patients, families,
and the multidisciplinary care team are essential. Utilizing
specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment, the
technologist will perform a diverse range of diagnostic and
interventional procedures in accordance with established
guidelines. Post-procedure reviews will be conducted to confirm
documentation and technical quality. The technologist will transfer
images and data to appropriate systems and prepare studies for
reporting by physicians. Operator-level quality control checks and
maintenance of equipment are also required. Participation in
continuing education and professional development to maintain
competencies is expected. Additional duties may be assigned as
needed. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work as part of
a team, follow instructions, and maintain a high level of
initiative and effort towards completing assignments efficiently.
Attention to detail, discretion in handling confidential
information, and the ability to multi-task in stressful situations
