Position is located at the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center in
Drug and Alcohol Pre-Employment and Pre-Placement Testing:
This position is a safety sensitive position as defined by 63
O.S. 427.8 (K)(1)(i)(2) due to providing direct patient care.
Therefore, those applicants testing positive for marijuana will not
be hired even when in possession of a valid medical marijuana
This position is responsible for administering and recording
medications to residents; completing nursing assessments on new
admissions and re-admissions; taking vital signs; prioritizing
needs/complaints; monitor/assess for side affects of medications;
observe patient for positive improvement from medications; Document
and report to appropriate physician.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required to perform duties include knowledge of the principles
and practices of professional nursing, of health promotion and
Ability is required to perform assessments and nursing functions
as acquired in the basic nursing preparation program.
Education and Experience:
Requirements at this level consist of possession of a valid
permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the
Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Screening. Must
be willing to work evening and night shifts.
