This position is located in Norman, OklahomaChild Welfare
Specialist III - H23CAnnual Salary, $52,217.89 + Full State
Employee Benefits. -Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in
Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional
5%. -On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging
from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on
responsibilities.DHS offers free child care for all employees. This

possess a valid driver's license and maintain required car
insurance. - -Previous Employees who are able to assume a caseload
upon rehire date are entitled to a $1,000 bonus at sign-on and
another $2,500 at the completion of one year of

- Master's Degree and -one year of experience in Child Welfare
programs,
- OR a Bachelor's Degree plus one year of professional social
work plus one year of experience in professional social work in
child welfare programs. - - - - Job ResponsibilitiesThis is the
specialist level where employees are designated as lead workers or
backup supervisors to Level I or Level II Child Welfare
Specialists, carry complex and difficult caseloads, or are assigned
responsibilities involving case consultation. -
- Serves as a lead worker or backup supervisor to lower-level
Child Welfare Specialists who carry complex and difficult
caseloads, or are assigned responsibilities involving case
consultation.
- Serves as a team leader in case staff meetings, provides
ongoing case consultation, and advises and trains lower-level Child
Welfare Specialists in case management and interpretation of
policies and procedures.
- Monitors investigations and individualized service plans and
reviews court reports.
- May coordinate the efforts of a placement program with those of
other related programs within the agency, with other state
agencies, and between other states
- Ability to work on a diverse team and directly with people from
diverse backgrounds specifically racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and
