This position is located in Norman, OklahomaChild Welfare Specialist III - H23CAnnual Salary, $52,217.89 + Full State Employee Benefits. -Applicants who possess a Master's Degree in Social Work will be entitled to a salary incentive of an additional 5%. -On-call positions will receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities.DHS offers free child care for all employees. This benefit will be in effect until June 30, 2023.   • Master's Degree and -one year of experience in Child Welfare programs,
  • OR a Bachelor's Degree plus one year of professional social work plus one year of experience in professional social work in child welfare programs. - - - - Job ResponsibilitiesThis is the specialist level where employees are designated as lead workers or backup supervisors to Level I or Level II Child Welfare Specialists, carry complex and difficult caseloads, or are assigned responsibilities involving case consultation. -
    • Serves as a lead worker or backup supervisor to lower-level Child Welfare Specialists who carry complex and difficult caseloads, or are assigned responsibilities involving case consultation.
    • Serves as a team leader in case staff meetings, provides ongoing case consultation, and advises and trains lower-level Child Welfare Specialists in case management and interpretation of policies and procedures.
    • Monitors investigations and individualized service plans and reviews court reports.
    • May coordinate the efforts of a placement program with those of other related programs within the agency, with other state agencies, and between other states
