Job DescriptionIf you want to make a positive impact on the

(CPM) because that is what we do daily. CPM is a department within
the College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma.
We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers,
clients and community partners training, and consultant support for
professional and programmatic development. We deliver
cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions that are tailored to
meet unique needs and situations. The business analyst will gather
business data and use reporting tools to analyze, model, query, and
report on business data. They also identify trends to generate
business insights and recommend growth strategies. Duties:
Responsible for working with functional and technical areas to
analyze business processes, gather business reporting requirements,
understand the report, or project objectives, and manage issues.
Creates detailed data mapping and reporting specification
replication Defines, designs, and develops queries and reports
using available tools Analyzes data and builds reports from the
data and dashboards. Evaluates and modifies current and new reports
in support of process improvements. Develops new
functionality/workflows. Other associated duties as assigned This
position may be eligible for remote or hybrid work.Job
RequirementsRequired Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 24 months
of computer programming and analysis, including experience with
enterprise reporting and analytics tools. Equivalency/Substitution:
Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the
Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience.
Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills and the
ability to communicate effectively with non-technical people
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage
multiple, parallel activities and organize time and resources
Critical thinking skills that include the ability to analyze end
user requirements and translate into key data points to be used
across the business Ability to write, edit, and optimize queries
Working knowledge of PSQL and other computer programming languages
Knowledge of and experience with Report Writing tools and support
programs;systems such as Crystal reports, Microsoft Access, SSRS,
OLAP or similar--- Understanding of a wide range of interpretive
analysis tools (e.g. trend analysis, spreadsheets, comparisons,
graphs, summary versus detail charts, drill down, correlations,
exception analysis), data modeling and extraction Experience
writing, debugging, and documenting complex queries against
relational databases Knowledge of C#, VSTO, SharePoint, SAS, Power
BI, MEAN Stack Ability to work independently and as a team member
Customer service skills Certifications: None Advertised Physical
Requirements: Must be able to engage in repetitive motions. Ability
to sit for short or extended periods of time. Standard office work
environment Departmental Preferences: Computer skills with wide
knowledge of business software (e.g., Access, 365 Apps, SAS,
Python, Power BI) Experience with Learning Management Systems
